Keziah Jones Live in Kigali on the 25th September 2016

 

 

img-20160911-wa0005The Nigerian innovator, artist, singer, songwriter and musician will perform his trademark of Blues and Funk in a full live concert in Kigali on the 25th September 2016 starting from 5pm!

Keziah Jones has countless singles including his best such as ‘Beautiful Emilie’, ‘Rhythm is love’, ‘Simply beautiful’ etc.

Résidence d’écriture avec Roland RUGERO et Marie Darrieussecq

Du 4 au 7 Mai 2016, Ishyo Arts Centre et l’Institut Français du Rwanda ont organisé une résidence d’écriture à Gisenyi dans l’ouest du Rwanda avec des jeunes auteurs de la sous-région (Rwanda, Burundi et la R.D.C). La résidence avait pour thème « du réel à la fiction, de l’écriture journalistique à la fiction». La résidence était animée par le Burundais Roland RUGERO, l’auteur de BAHO et la française Marie DARRIEUSSECQ, auteure de « Truisme ».

Pourquoi écrivons-nous ? interrogea Roland RUGERO. Chacun de participants avait répondu à cette question. Faire sortir mes idées avait répondu NZAMBAZA Vivine. Par la passion, instruire, pour passer un message avait répondu Féfé Kalume. Pour ne pas me retrouver en enfer, dit Freddy SABIMBONA. Pour changer les jours impies en jour meilleurs, ajouta KANYANA. Exprimer ma liberté absolue, déclara Obed TEMBA. Partager mes idées, dit BUTERA Yvan. Parce que je suis poussé, répondit GANZA Moise. (more…)
